Population Profile
·  In 1996, approximately 23,000 of the County's 65,300 residents lived in the Valley.
·  At the 2,000 Census, 18,994 lived in the unincorporated area surrounding Sequim, from the Agnew/Carlsborg area to teh east end of the county.
·  Approximately 4,485 of the county's 65,300 residents live in the city (2005)
·  In 1996, of this number, 40% are over the age of 60. The median age was 51 - In 2003, the median age was approximately 43.8.
·  The quoted median family income was $34,812 in 1996, In 2003, it was $41,096.but does not include the significant investment income brought in by the retired population.
